• Two men have so far been identified:
• Arthur Gill is directly behind the man in the front row who is holding the dog.
• Sgt. Robert Howard Wilson of Campbellford, Ont. is 4th from right in the 2nd row from the front (the "Y" in "PHOTO BY" touches his foot).

Photographer was Rea & Gillespie, Bradford, Ontario.
The photo was purchased several years ago at a book auction in Kingston, Ont.;
It was donated to the Canadian War Museum in 2024.
